What equipment can I track?
Machines, vehicles, trailers, containers, generators, and valuable tools. From large self-propelled machines to smaller equipment that’s often moved from job site to job site—you can track everything from a single dashboard.
What is the difference between wired, standalone tracking units and BLE sensors?
A wired unit is permanently connected to the power supply (and, optionally, the CAN bus) of a machine or vehicle—ideal for equipment with its own power source, as this also provides operating hours, consumption, and maintenance data. A standalone unit runs on its own battery and is designed for equipment without a power supply, such as containers or trailers. BLE sensors are small, inexpensive trackers for small and numerous tools that transmit their location via a gateway. Which solution is right for you depends on what you want to track—we’ll figure that out together during the equipment scan.
How does this help prevent theft?
You set up zones and operating hours and receive a notification as soon as equipment moves outside those boundaries—for example, at night or outside the construction site. In the event of an actual theft, you can continue to track the equipment, which significantly increases the chances of recovering it and helps your insurer.
What operational data can I retrieve from the CAN bus?
