Does my entire fleet have to be subject to tachograph requirements?
No. Many companies use a mix: shorter trips with smaller vehicles and longer bus trips with larger buses. Only the latter are typically subject to tachograph requirements. The Safety Dashboard combines tachograph data—where available—with driving style and vehicle data for the rest of the fleet.
Is this intended to monitor drivers?
The focus is on coaching, not punishment. Driving style data makes it easier to discuss behavior, so you can support your drivers. A smoother driving style means less risk, less wear and tear, and a more comfortable ride.
Will this work with the equipment I already have?
