One important integration we highlight in this blog is the link to TRANS.EU - an international freight exchange and logistics platform that brings together shippers, forwarders and carriers. Shippers can use this platform to fully automate transport orders, monitor loads and compare transport rates based on current market prices. TRANS.EU also helps to find carriers when the regular subcontractors are unable to perform the transport by publishing an online auction. In addition, there is also information on carriers, regarding their reputation and credibility, vehicles offered, insurance, awards and specialization. Reporting tools and order templates are also available.
Freight forwarders use TRANS.EU to automate the entire process of accepting transportation and sending orders to carriers. On the platform, freight forwarders can also link freight to regular carriers, compare transport rates for routes and track cargo location and status. What do you need to do to set up API integration?
To activate this automated integration between FLEET.PRO and TRANS.EU, first log in to TRANS.EU and then click on the FLEET.PRO name/logo. Add at least one vehicle if you have not already done so. In the Telematics section, you will be asked to add a provider. Here, select FLEET.PRO in the search box. Once that is done, open the FLEET.PRO application, and use the menu to go to settings. Click on "Trans.eu integration. Choose a username and password, and then copy this data into the relevant field of the telematics provider drop-down menu in TRANS.EU. Voilà, the integration is complete, and you are now ready to benefit from it.
