How does asset tracking work in practice?
You attach a tracker, tag or QR code to your asset.
The tracker transmits location or presence info via GPS or Bluetooth.

Passive tracking
This tag works passively, meaning it does not automatically send a signal itself. Instead, the user of the material scans the tag via NFC connection or QR app on the smartphone.

Semi-active tracking
The equipment is fitted with a Bluetooth TAG/BLE. These types of sensors are ultra-small and have an internal battery. The tag is semi-active because it automatically connects to a reader/gateway in the yard, depot, building, parking lot.

Active tracking
Assets are equipped with an active GPS unit with a strong internal battery that can provide up to 10 years of autonomy. The frequency at which the unit transmits its position can be chosen (for example, several times a day or when there is movement). Precise location determination is automatic and placement is easy, as no electrical installation is required.
