Changes to the AGR neighbor scheme from July 2020

Are you already aware that from July 1, 2020, when transporting liquid animal manure with a neighbor scheme, you must also be equipped with an AGR-GPS application? Find out in this blog what will change and what you should definitely pay attention to!

This new regulation is not for everyone. Only farmers with plots in area type 2 or 3 that transport manure will have to use this AGR-GPS application. Important here is that clear agreements are made between providers and buyers about who will use the app in the future.

What if both provider and buyer refuse to use the application?

As of July 2020, it is required by law that you abide by these new guidelines and take the necessary steps to comply. As you can probably guess, there are hefty fines for not complying with these new rules. Fines, therefore, that it is best to avoid! If you are the party transporting the manure, be sure to read this information.

How does such an AGR-GPS app work?

Every time you load fertilizer, a new fertilizer cycle starts. Thanks to the application, the obligatory registration of the manure transport becomes extremely easy. Via a few simple actions, you send all necessary data directly to the manure bank. Your AGR data are stored and sent to our secure server, from where we send all data to the central server at the manure bank. There, all information is checked and you receive a notification of successful or unsuccessful registration.

How does the app track all my data correctly during the fattening cycle?

At the start of a new manure cycle, you open the app and start loading the manure. For that, among other things, you need the number of the neighbor arrangement, which you enter into the app. As you transport, the application sends data about your position every 5 minutes. This allows one to find out afterwards your driven route and check if everything went correctly.

If you are carrying manure destined for multiple plots, you can submit multiple unloading messages in the application. A final unloading message will be recognized by the app as the end of the manure transport cycle.

Is such an app useful?

Yes! We got to work and built an app that is user-friendly for everyone. Simple icons guide you effortlessly through the entire manure cycle. A mistake is easily made, but you don't have to worry about incorrect data entry. In fact, the app checks the neighbor scheme number and gives an error message when something is incorrect.
