'In addition to the SME grant for digital investments, a transport company can also apply for a grant for ecological and safe transport. The VLAIO subsidy application 2023 will soon be opened for this purpose. Submission is possible until November 30, 2023 at the latest, unless the support budget is exhausted earlier.
The maximum support is €1,500 per freight vehicle and is up to €100,000 per three consecutive calendar years (2021, 2022 and 2023). The list of supported measures is the one in effect since the 2021 application. The support measure stops as of 2024.'

SME growth grant
With the SME growth subsidy, Flanders helps SMEs realize a growth trajectory. You can get up to 50,000 euros of subsidy to buy advice or hire employees to realize that growth trajectory. The focus of your trajectory must be on digitization or innovation. Every year there are 3 periods in which you can apply for this innovation subsidy.

Tax deduction for cost of security services
Do you invest as a self-employed person, liberal professional or small business in security via track & trace or TT alarms, for example? Then you can deduct costs such as the subscription fees for a licensed alarm center 120% from your personal income tax.

Investment Deduction
Are you just starting up as a business or expanding your operations? Then you can get an investment deduction for any digital and security investments you make. For investments you make until the end of 2022, you can deduct 25% of the acquisition value from your taxable profit. The normal rate is 13.5%.

SME Portfolio
As an SME, you get a subsidy for advice and training from registered service providers designed to improve the operation of your business. If you ask us as an expert in track & trace for advice or take a training course to learn how to work with your tracking app, as a small business you get 30% subsidy and as a medium business you get 20% subsidy.

Provincial support for innovative projects
Is your company located in the province of Limburg or Flemish Brabant? Then you have an extra subsidy that you can call on. With these innovation subsidies, the 2 provinces encourage companies to work together on innovative projects. They finance a maximum of 50% of the actual costs you incur. With a maximum subsidy amount of 150,000 euros in Flemish Brabant and 50,000 euros in Limburg.

Strategic transformation support
If you have really ambitious track & trace plans to implement a strategic transformation project, or if they are part of a strategic transformation project that is beneficial to the Flemish economy, you can apply for this subsidy. You will then receive up to 10% subsidy for your investment and up to 25% for training.
