'The 2023 aid application will soon open on Ecological and safe transport. Submission is possible until November 30, 2023 at the latest, unless the support budget is exhausted earlier. The maximum support is €1,500 per freight vehicle and is a maximum of €100,000 in three consecutive calendar years (2021, 2022 and 2023). The list of supported measures is the one in effect since the 2021 application. The support measure will stop as of 2024.'

Do you want to invest in ecological and safe road transport? And does your company have at least one vehicle weighing more than 3.5 tons? Then your company may also be able to obtain a Flemish subsidy for All-Connects solutions.

The Flemish government wants to make the switch to greener and safer transport on our Flemish roads. Therefore, since November 20, 2017, there is a subsidy for Ecological and Safe Transport. And that may be good news for your company.
Thus, the support measure targets a lot of solutions that All-Connects provides. In other words, if your company qualifies for the subsidy, you can purchase certain All-Connects applications at a fraction of the price.
For which applications is the grant intended?
It covers the expenses (purchase, rental or lease) of the following measures:
- driving assistance systems to promote energy-efficient and safe driving,
- additional safety features beyond those required by law,
- additional facilities with positive environmental and noise impacts,
- measures to promote efficiency,
- measures to promote the ergonomic design of the driver's seat,
- measures to avoid theft.
Who is eligible for the grant?
Of course, not every company can take advantage of the subsidy. For example, it only covers companies that:
- Havean operating facilityin the Flemish Region,
- Have at least one truck or combination with a maximum authorized weight of more than 3.5 tons for transporting goods by road,
- are active and have an acceptable legal form,
- comply with the de minimis aid regulation according to European regulations.
Please note that companies in difficulty or where an administrative government has a dominant influence are excluded.
How much is the grant?
The aid rate is up to 80% ofeligible expenses. To give you an example: for our track-and-trace solution with tacho, thanks to the subsidy, you pay for the hardware only € 189.20 instead of € 699.00.
Furthermore, it is limited to a maximum of €100,000 per company for expenses incurred in the three calendar years 2017, 2018 or 2019. The grant is also limited to a maximum of €3,000 per vehicle.
Moreover, the amount of this aid cannot be cumulated with other aid, regardless of its form and purpose for the same expenditure.
