About whether or not you are obliged to use an AGR app, there is sometimes some uncertainty and ambiguity? Among other things, the obligation depends on the area type of your plots. Do you doubt whether you should use an AGR app? In this blog we look at the situations where you should and should not use one.
Transport with neighbors arrangement during period January 1 to July 31
You are WELL required to use an AGR app during this period when:
Do you transport liquid animal manure? Does the buyer have parcels in area type 2 or 3? If so, be sure to use the AGR app when transporting to all plots in area type 0, 1 2 and 3. Transport to the buyer's manure storage within area type 2 or 3 must also be accompanied by the AGR app.
You are NOT required to use an AGR app during this period when:
If the buyer only has parcels outside area type 2 or 3, you are not obliged to use an AGR app. If you do operate in these area types, but only transport solid animal manure or other fertilizers, the app is not mandatory.
Transport with neighbors arrangement during period August 1 through December 31
You are WELL required to use an AGR app during this period when:
Please note: When transporting liquid manure to a field in area type 2 or 3, you must have a fixed AGR-GPS device for each transport. More information about an AGR-GPS device can be found here find.
However, transportation can be through neighbor scheme and the use of an AGR app is sufficient in this situation if the farmer has a valid exemption from the area-based measures based on a farm assessment. More information on this exemption can be found here.
Transport to an area type 0 or 1 can also be done through neighbor arrangement with the AGR app and also when transporting to an area grassland or perennial crop the use of the app is sufficient. Transport to the buyer's manure storage within area type 2 or 3 must be accompanied by the AGR app.
You are NOT required to use an AGR app during this period when:
If the buyer only has plots of land outside area type 2 or 3, then the transport can simply take place via neighbor scheme and you are not obliged to use an AGR app. You are also not obliged to use the app when transporting solid animal manure or other fertilizers.
