Goeyvaerts R.

Goeyvaerts is one of the largest heavy equipment rental companies in the port of Antwerp. With more than a hundred machines—from impressive cranes to bulldozers, forklifts, and grabs—spread across yards in Belgium and the Netherlands, keeping track of everything was a daily challenge. Together with AllConnects, Goeyvaerts found a solution that not only tracks locations but also integrates seamlessly with their existing ERP system.

The challenge: 100+ machines, insufficient overview

Goeyvaerts Rental manages more than a hundred assets — cranes, bulldozers, forklifts, and grabs — which are simultaneously active on dozens of construction sites in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Daily management was time-consuming. If something went wrong with a machine, someone had to physically drive to the yard to check the parameters. And if someone in the office asked where a specific grab was located, that meant making phone calls to the yard.

The solution: two platforms, one integrated system

AllConnects implemented two complementary platforms, tailored to the type of equipment.

Check.connect

CHECK.connect

Specialized in tracking smaller equipment and assets — always visible, always traceable.

Live.connect

LIVE.connect

Records operating hours and alarms for heavier machinery such as cranes.

The real breakthrough was in integration. An API link seamlessly connected the AllConnects platforms to ODO, Goeyvaerts' ERP system. Operating hours and location data now flow automatically—no manual retyping, no chance of errors.

The impact: time savings, less administration, better service

The concrete return on investment is noticeable in several areas:

📍

Real-time location

With the push of a button, the office can see exactly where every grab, crane, or bulldozer is located. No more phone calls to the site.

Respond faster to defects

Whereas in the past someone had to drive to the customer's location, the team now has direct insight into the machine's parameters from the office.

🧾

Automated post-calculation

Operating hours are automatically transferred to the ERP system, which greatly simplifies invoicing per project or site.

📉

Less administration

The elimination of manual data entry saves time and reduces errors structurally.

Reliability as a foundation

A technical link also raises questions about reliability. AllConnects solved this in stages and continuously monitors the uptime of its systems.

The result: availability of over 99% — the system practically never fails. If something does go wrong, the service team is immediately on hand to intervene.

Service that makes the difference

According to Goeyvaerts, service is the most important criterion when choosing a technology partner — and that is something you don't always know in advance.

★★★★★ 4.9/5 AllConnect's Google rating — a concrete reference point for those who are unsure
