Van de Putte & Co: AGR-GPS for manure transport that just works

It wasn't a sales pitch, but a device that proved itself in practice: that's why agricultural transport company Van de Putte & Co chose AGR-GPS from AllConnects.

Van de Putte & Co manure tanker on a farm field

Van de Putte & Co is an agricultural transport company that transports manure and digestate to storage facilities or directly to the fields—a type of transport for which AGR-GPS is required by law. Since 2025, Van de Putte & Co has been using AllConnects’ AGR-GPS, which alerts the driver before departure if the trailer is not properly coupled.

"I would definitely recommend it, because it doesn't cause any trouble and you won't get any fines. It's a great device, and it's reliable."
Niels De Mol, Manager, Van de Putte & Co

About Van de Putte & Co

Van de Putte & Co is an agricultural transportation company based in Wichelen that specializes in transporting manure and digestate—either to storage facilities or directly to the fields. AGR-GPS is required by law for this type of transport. A reliable system makes all the difference between a smooth trip and an avoidable fine.

The challenge: trailers that weren't properly hitched

"We had purchased a new truck. Since we'd already had quite a few problems with other vehicles, we were really looking for a reliable one. And that's how we ended up with AllConnects."
Niels De Mol, Manager

Manager Niels De Mol was familiar with the problems caused by unreliable systems. With previous suppliers, issues regularly arose involving trailers that weren’t connected properly. Those systems didn’t clearly indicate this, so drivers sometimes unknowingly drove with an unhitched trailer, thereby risking a fine.

"The main thing is that we had a lot of problems with the connected trailers. He didn't mention that with other brands. With AllConnects, he actually tells you that the trailer isn't connected. You can still keep going, but he lets you know right away."
Niels De Mol, Manager

At AllConnects, things work differently. AGR-GPS clearly indicates when a trailer isn’t properly coupled, even before the transport departs. The driver can continue driving, but is warned first and knows exactly where he stands. No surprises later on.

Convinced by a device that worked, not by a sales pitch

The path to AllConnects didn’t start with an ad or a sales pitch. Van de Putte & Co worked for a while with a tractor belonging to one of Niels’s relatives, which was equipped with the AllConnects device. That’s how the company came to appreciate its ease of use in practice, without any sales pressure.

When a new truck was purchased and a reliable system was needed again, the choice was quickly made.

Installation by appointment, service when needed

The installation went smoothly: everything was in order on the agreed-upon day. That may sound obvious, but for a transportation company where every day counts, a vehicle that’s out of service due to a botched installation is simply unacceptable.

"The collaboration is going very smoothly. We don't really have to call them very often, and when we do, the issue is always resolved right away. The installation went well, exactly on the day they said it would. It was all perfect."
Niels De Mol, Manager
