FAQ

What is asset tracking?

Asset tracking or tracking refers to the method of tracking physical assets, either by scanning tags (barcode, QR-NFC) attached to the asset, or by using tags using GPS, BLE, LoRa or RFID that broadcast their location.
‍
Asset tracking involves the process of monitoring the value of physical work assets owned by a company, with crucial details about each asset, such as location, owner/user, maintenance schedule, inspections, etc. Inventory tracking, on the other hand, is associated with accurately tracking items held in stock for sale to customers.
