AllConnects and GeoDynamics are both Belgian providers with highly overlapping service offerings: time tracking, Checkinatwork, vehicle tracking and tracing, and equipment tracking. Both are widely used in the construction industry and integrate with payroll service providers and ERP systems.

The difference lies in their starting points. GeoDynamics grew out of time and activity tracking for construction, installation, and manufacturing. AllConnects grew out of vehicle and equipment tracking and tracing, and also offers solutions for transportation (tachograph, load weight) and agriculture (AGR-GPS for certified manure transporters). Those primarily interested in tracking work hours and job sites will find what they need with both companies. Those who also want to include trucks or agricultural requirements will find those solutions at AllConnects.

Who are the two providers?

Which provider is right for your situation?

GeoDynamics is the obvious choice if you …

  • I mainly want to track work hours and activities, with vehicles being a secondary concern
  • have a production environment or workshop where time clock and access control are key
  • even if they already use an ERP or planning system for which they have an existing integration
  • manages installation, maintenance, or cleaning crews

AllConnects is the obvious choice if you …

  • using vehicles and equipment as a starting point, with employee time tracking on top of that
  • have trucks and want to track tachograph data or load weight
  • are involved in agriculture or contract farming and need AGR-GPS for the Mestbank
  • You want to secure your fleet with an alarm system connected to a monitoring center
  • wants to manage equipment using QR codes and BLE tags, even without a power source

Two Belgian players, two starting points

It’s a fair assessment: when it comes to recruitment, working hours, and attendance tracking, both companies do largely the same thing—and have been doing so for more than twenty years. Anyone looking solely for those features can turn to either company and will make their decision based on the demo, approach, and chemistry with the team.

The distinction arises as soon as rolling stock is added that is subject to its own regulations. A contractor with its own trucks must comply with tachograph requirements and load weight regulations; a contractor transporting manure needs AGR-GPS for the Manure Database. These are the areas where the offerings differ.

At BPC Group, one of Belgium’s larger contractors, AllConnects processes more than 47,000 Checkinatwork check-ins per month at a single construction site in Anderlecht, linked to a physical turnstile—in addition to tracking vehicles and equipment on the same platform. Read the full customer story.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between AllConnects and GeoDynamics?

Both are Belgian providers with a highly overlapping range of services in the areas of time tracking, Checkinatwork, vehicle tracking, and equipment management. GeoDynamics has grown out of time and activity tracking for the construction, installation, and manufacturing industries. AllConnects has expanded from vehicle and equipment track-and-trace and also offers solutions for transportation (tachograph, load weight) and agriculture (AGR-GPS).

Do both providers offer Checkinatwork?

Yes. Both AllConnects and GeoDynamics offer a solution for electronic attendance tracking with the RSZ, using an app, a badge, and a fixed check-in point at the construction site entrance. In this regard, there is no significant difference between the two providers.

When is GeoDynamics the logical choice?

When time tracking is the main focus and vehicles are secondary; when you have a production environment or workshop where time clocks and access control are central; or when they already have an existing integration with the ERP or planning software you use.

Which provider is the best fit for a trucking company?

For trucks, new requirements are being introduced that go beyond time tracking: remote tachograph data retrieval, driving and rest times, and, in certain cases, load weight checks. AllConnects offers a specific solution for this (FLEET.TRUCK). We did not find any information regarding this in GeoDynamics’ public product documentation (as of August 2026).

Who offers AGR-GPS for certified manure hauliers?

AllConnects provides AGR-GPS for certified manure transporters, including the registration required by the Mestbank and an app for the neighbor coordination program. GeoDynamics focuses on construction, installation, manufacturing, and services; we did not find any offerings from them for the agricultural sector.

Has GeoDynamics been acquired?

Yes. In March 2025, GeoDynamics became part of the Dutch cloud software group Blinqx, which acquired the stake from IK Partners’ investment fund IK Small Cap II. IK Partners had acquired that stake in December 2020 from Sofindev and the founders. According to GeoDynamics, it will continue to operate independently within Blinqx, led by co-founders Stijn Stragier and Peter Vermeesch, who became co-shareholders in Blinqx. AllConnects is a Belgian family-owned business that is wholly owned by its CEO.

Can I track both vehicles and equipment using both systems?

Yes, both providers offer vehicle tracking and equipment tracking. AllConnects uses a combination of GPS, BLE tags, and QR codes for this purpose, including autonomous trackers with their own batteries for equipment without a power source. Check with both providers to see which tag technology is best suited for the equipment you want to track effectively.
