Goeyvaerts R.: 100+ machines always in view, from grab to crane

Rental company Goeyvaerts R. tracks cranes, grabs, and other heavy equipment with CHECK.connect and LIVE.connect. Operating hours and locations are automatically transferred to Odoo.

Green port crane with grab on the quay — Goeyvaerts machinery fleet managed with AllConnects

Goeyvaerts R. from Antwerp rents out cranes, bulldozers, forklifts, and grabs to construction sites in Belgium and the Netherlands from the Port of Antwerp. Since 2017, Goeyvaerts R. has been monitoring more than one hundred machines using CHECK.connect and LIVE.connect, and via an API connection, operating hours and locations flow automatically into the Odoo ERP system.

The collaboration between Goeyvaerts and AllConnects is constructive and transparent. In case of problems, we always have a direct line and very good support.

About Goeyvaerts R.

Goeyvaerts R. rents out heavy equipment from the Port of Antwerp: from imposing cranes to bulldozers, forklifts, and grabs. More than a hundred machines are active simultaneously at dozens of construction sites in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The challenge: 100+ machines, insufficient overview

The daily management of such a fleet of machinery was time-consuming. If something went wrong with a machine, someone had to physically drive to the construction site to check the parameters. And if someone in the office asked where a specific grab was located, that meant phone calls to the site.

The solution: two platforms, linked to the ERP

AllConnects deployed two complementary platforms, tailored to the type of equipment:

CHECK.connect

For smaller equipment and assets: always visible, always traceable. More about equipment management .

LIVE.connect

For heavier machines such as cranes: records operating hours and triggers alarms.

The real breakthrough lay in the integration. Both platforms are connected to Odoo, Goeyvaerts R's ERP system, via an API link. Operating hours and location data flow through automatically, without manual retyping and without the risk of errors.

The impact: time savings, less administration, better service

Real-time location

With a single click, the office sees where every grabber, crane, or bulldozer is located. No more phone calls to the construction site.

Respond faster to defects

Where previously someone had to drive to the customer, the team now views the machine parameters from the office.

Automatic post-calculation

The operating hours are automatically transferred to the ERP, which greatly simplifies invoicing per project or construction site.

Less administration

No more manual data entry: this saves time and eliminates errors permanently.

Reliability as a foundation

A technical connection raises questions about reliability. AllConnects built the connection step by step and continuously monitors the uptime of its systems. According to Peter Meersschaert of AllConnects, the system achieves an availability of over 99%: it practically never fails. Should something go wrong, the service team is ready immediately.

Service that makes the difference

For Goeyvaerts R., service is the most important criterion when choosing a technology partner, and that is precisely what you do not always know in advance. The answer is in the opening quote: a direct line, and good help when needed.
