The partnership began in 2014. “Our account manager at the time visited us regularly, and we immediately felt that things were going well,” recalls Guido Laurijssen, manager of the three companies. “We wanted insight into our fleet—in a user-friendly and affordable way.”
That initial insight quickly evolved into a sophisticated management system. “The vans and company vehicles from the various companies are now easy to track,” says Geert Dox. “Whether it’s deliveries from LAROB, installation crews from GYMA, or transport for ALU-COATING—everything is tracked perfectly, day by day, site by site.”
What makes this partnership unique: three legally independent companies operate on a single integrated platform—each with its own vehicles, employees, and equipment, but with a single centralized overview for management.
From vehicle tracking to smart route planning
"We used to have no way of knowing whether our routes were optimal," says Geert. "Now we plan specific 'loops' for each region: Limburg, East Flanders… We enter 20 addresses, and the software calculates the best order while taking into account obstacles such as bridge heights or weight restrictions."
These obstacles are automatically detected via Sigic, specialized navigation software for the transportation sector. AllConnects integrates directly with Sigic, providing drivers with routes that are both realistic and safe—tailored to the specifications of their vehicles.
Delivery lists have also evolved: from paper printouts to digital lists displayed on the tablet in the vehicle, with automatic integration of tachograph data.
