HVAC company Asaniverko oversees employees' performed hours thanks to GPS tracking
The employees of Asaniverko from Boom perform maintenance work, repairs and replacements of central heating boilers. Every now and then a customer disputed the invoice. Today the company can prove the hours worked with the figures in hand. The GPS app from AllConnects prints them out for them.
Asaniverko started in 1994 and today has about twenty employees. Every day, technicians traverse their assigned region aboard one of thirteen company vehicles. They visit customers for maintenance and repairs. They know their trade and thus enjoy a fairly wide autonomy. But always in the knowledge that they represent Asaniverko.
Customer does not agree to invoice
Technicians were tasked with noting hours worked and materials used, and in the evening brought in all the data to be processed for invoicing. A time-consuming and energy-consuming task. Then it was very annoying when, sometimes weeks after completion, a customer questioned the hours charged. The solution was obvious. Using GPS tracking, Asaniverko could accurately track which technician was working for which client and for how long. Only this did not work with the GPS installed in the vehicles at the time.
Marc Broodhaers, CEO of Asaniverko, explains why the decision to intervene was compelling:
"The solution of our former Dutch partner did not meet our expectations at all. The GPS connection often left much to be desired and the registration and calculation of the hours worked proved impossible. When problems arose - and we encountered them regularly - the service provided was also substandard."
Quick service never far away
So Asaniverko went looking for a new partner and found it nearby, in Kontich. Marc Broodhaers, CEO clarifies:
"We went to see local AllConnects and the feeling was right away. They not only understood our situation, but had a ready-made solution ready right away. They also guaranteed us good follow-up and after-sales service. After previous bad experiences, it was music to our ears."
AllConnects' service team was flexible. The installation phase was divided into two parts so that we could still send enough vehicles out on the road. Further follow-up could be done over the phone.
"We are already noticing that appointments are being kept punctually."
Win-win-win
Management and employees today are very satisfied with the GPS tracking system. It works fine and generates reliable data. The system stores this data, so that the details of each intervention are always available. Even long after the date. A print-out suffices to convince a doubting customer. Marc Broodhaers: "It is very handy that we can monitor the daily progress of each employee in real time. As soon as an urgent intervention is needed somewhere, we know whether and for which technician we can schedule it. We no longer have to disturb anyone during work."
Finally, administration also gains from the new system. Collecting site reports and coding information is no longer necessary. Everything happens automatically by digital means and without the chance of human error.
"The solution delivers on its promises, the service is more than okay and the value for money is fair," the CEO concludes.
