Ramen Van Tomme (Ramen Kurt Van Tomme) from Eeklo produces and installs aluminium windows, doors, and facades, primarily in project construction, with around thirty employees, ten of whom are installers on the road daily. The challenge: manual follow-up hinders growth
With every new installer, the administrative burden also increased. Every morning, employees were manually checked in at the various construction sites, without any automation. There was also no system to accurately record the kilometers traveled, making a correct and detailed mobility allowance impossible.

The human factor: training staff to use badges
Introducing technology is one thing, getting people on board is another. Managing Director Tom Heirman is honest about this: his installers suddenly had to do something they didn't have to do before, and that met with some resistance at first. But badge-ins were quickly adopted.
